Join the Chassis Team
The chassis team begins with the wheels and tires and the choices of whether or not wheel hubs need to be widened or flared. The chassis team will help to disassembly the body from the chassis. ( $100.00 4 member team)
Join the Engine Team
The engine block team must ensure the engine is disassembled, tagged, bagged and parts sourced and replaced. ($200.00 3 member team limit)
Join the Bodywork Team
In this full restoration., you will be prepping and painting the body. This including door jambs and sill plates, and likely the entire floorpan and dash as well. Once the panels are nice and straight and rust is repaired, the bare metal and filler can be sealed. ( $200.00 2 member team limit)
Join the Dry Fit Team
A dry fit teams must fit al panels together eliminating and identifying gaps to be set to double check the bodywork and find any fitment issues that could cause paint to rub. Seat frames and anything else that bolts in can be checked to make sure new components match the factory locations. This include remounting the engine back in between the framerails adjusting wiring and plumbing. You will confirm that your headers fit. ($200.00 4 member team limit)
Join the Paint Team
After all parts are fitted you want to prime sand and apply base coat and clearcoat. Body guys and girls with an eye for detail is a must. ($200.00 2 member team)
Join the Interior and Final Assembly Team
At this point this team should repair interior reupholster find new seats etc and bolt and finalize interior assembly. ($400.00 3 member team limit)
